This hat was inspired by a cabled sweater in a vintage pattern booklet. The sweater was modeled on both a boy and a girl, and titled “Most Likely To Succeed Boy” and “Most Popular Girl” respectively. My inner feminist cringed even as my inner knitter was intrigued by the stitch pattern.
It’s the easiest cable pattern you’ll ever keep track of, too, as actual cabling occurs on only 1 row of 10. Features a nice deep ribbing to turn up over your frozen ears.
A deep V-neck cardigan with graceful lines and knitterly details. Features darted waist shaping, linen stitch borders, precise top-down raglan construction, and flared sleeves that fall just below the elbow. Zero or a small amount of positive ease recommended.
